Served over pasta, it’s a perfect choice for family dinners, casual entertaining, or anytime you’re craving classic Italian comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Grandpa Pete’s Marinara Sauce

  • 8 slices cooked deli roast beef

  • 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3–4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (or dried parsley)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil (or dried basil)

  • 1 oz raisins

  • 1 tablespoon grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

  • 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped

  • 1 lb pasta of your choice (medium shells work especially well)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the braciole in a single layer.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté until soft and translucent.

  3. Stir in the parsley, basil, raisins, and chopped hard-boiled egg. Add 3 tablespoons of Grandpa Pete’s Marinara Sauce and the grated cheese. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Mix well until the filling is evenly combined and moist.

  4. Lay the slices of roast beef flat on a clean surface. Spoon a small amount of the filling onto each slice and spread evenly. Roll each slice up tightly to form the braciole.

  5. Spread a thin layer of Grandpa Pete’s Marinara Sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange the braciole seam-side down, snugly next to each other.

  6. Cover the braciole with the remaining Marinara Sauce. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes, or until heated through and bubbling.

  7. While the braciole is baking, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain well and transfer to a serving platter.

  8. Spoon the braciole and sauce over the pasta. Finish with additional grated Romano or Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
