Grilled Italian Chili Dogs

This Grilled Chili Dog recipe is a perfect choice for the summer grilling season! This recipe combines the great taste of Grandpa Pete’s Meat Flavored Sauce and the classic chili dog. A Grandpa Pete’s twist on a classic summer recipe.

Ingredients: 

1 cup Grandpa Pete’s Meat Flavored Sauce 

½ lb. ground beef 

8 frankfurters (or Sweet Italian Sausages) 

8 frankfurter rolls 

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese  

Instructions: 

Brown ground beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, drain if desired. Stir in Sauce; heat through. 

Meanwhile, grill or broil frankfurters (or sausages) until cooked fully through.  

To serve, arrange frankfurters in rolls, then top with heated Meat Flavored Sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
